Helping Policyholders Across Mainland and the Hawaiian Islands
The statistics presented above are based on independent research conducted by the Florida Legislature's Office of Program Policy Analysis and Government Accountability (OPPAGA).
Researchers examined actual insurance claims and payment records from Citizens Property Insurance Corporation, comparing claims involving licensed public adjusters with those handled without public-adjuster representation. The study evaluated hurricane-related and non-catastrophe property claims, using median insurance payments to compare outcomes.
The findings revealed substantially higher typical payments among several groups of claims involving public adjusters. These results demonstrate a meaningful association between professional representation and claim payment amounts, although they do not establish that hiring a public adjuster alone caused the differences.
Public adjusters provide services such as detailed damage assessments, estimate preparation, policy review, and settlement negotiations—all designed to help policyholders pursue the benefits available under their insurance policies.
Our commitment at Island Claim Solutions is to ensure that property damage is thoroughly evaluated, properly documented, and professionally presented to the insurance carrier.
